Whether you want to race down the mountain or spot your landing at the free ride park, with the NC-17 DH helmet you are on the safe side in terms of quality.
The two sizes offered (S-M 54-58cm and
L-XL 58-62cm) can have their fit optimized using interchangeable pad sets which are supplied with the helmet. This enables the wearer to fine-tune the helmet to fit almost any head shape. The entire upholstery can be taken out for cleaning too and, naturally, the helmet exceeds the EN1078 safety norm.
However, because we don’t assume that someone will ride at 200 km/h into a tree, we do fall short of the standards set for motorcycle helmets, but that’s how we could realize the dream weight of just 930grams! Because of the comfortable upholstery and the extremely light weight in relation to the price, you can easily go for a Free ride-Tour without suffering from a heat attack. The eye cutout has been designed to be used with goggles, the visor is fastened using screws and can be adjusted using Velcro pads. This design ensures the visor will deflect out of place in a fall without breaking off. The ventilation system is similar in design to our proven NC-17 Dirt helmet and provides optimal ventilation through the two louvers that are attached to the chin.
We deliver the helmet totally plain and give the user a sticker set to promote an individual NC-17 style for everyone.
